Storage facilities are cheaper and less expensive every year, but more information is available. But how exactly do producers achieve such incredibly low memory prices? They use smart techniques to make memory map I've heard 64 GBs full memory, while in fact the chip is full of defects.
Each memory map uses a tiny micro controller, which assigns the address memory cells. Remembrance chips are made with a stock of dummy. During production, the chip is checked for defects. And the unreadable blocks are just celebrating, unavailable and inaccessible. Bingo! We just turned a chip with a flaw into a perfectly normal memory map. There is no pretending in these techniques; they are used by all SD-Cart manufacturers and this is in accordance with the standard. If it wasn't for these moves, SD-fam would cost as much as SSD-disk (if not anymore).
